Wedgecrafted Bedframe

This bedframe was my first real jump into furniture design.  The main construction was inspired by Japanese timber framing.  All parts come apart for ease of install and moving with the exposed joinery.  Can be customized in lumber species and headboard style.  Always open to customizing further upon request.  

There are other designs based off of this two way bridal joint but what sets this design apart is hand cut joinery and the addition of the wedge's surrounding the legs.  This adds an immense amount of compressive strength to all of the joints.  It is the most solid frame design I have found.

Pictured is Ash frame with Swamp Mahogany Slab headboard from a local supplier.  Headboard is also available in Danish cord.
